This depends on what's ur purposes of opening account. But Twitter is personally updated by celebrities & stars from their real life, whereas Facebook is most common for online business purposes as well as many common people. One more advantage of using Facebook is customization of ur choices for privacy and sharing, while in Twitter u will not get those features.
