Oh my God would you give it a rest. It's clear that you were probably snooping through his facebook or his phone and caught him telling his friends. BIG DEAL. Guys like to brag about that sort of thing, it gives them confidence and gains respect from their friends. Of course he's not going to straight up tell you he's gonna have sex with you on New Years... he's likely gonna make a move on you and slowly initiate a sexual encounter.

Take it as a compliment, and be grateful that while you were snooping you didn't find some other, possibly hurtful things.
