Doesn't have to do with "race" it has to do with social factors... if I'm understanding your question, you mean "Black people want to stand out, wheres White people want to blend in"... of course that has to do with social factors not racial factors.
In "richer areas" there is more pressure to fit in to the standards... in my textbook for physcology there is a study that showed Black American girls are more happy with there appearance then White American girls on average... which heavily has to do with environmental factors because we know the media does not perceive Black girls to be the prettiest. Well if that ain't what you're asking, then you gotta add more details... but regardless it will have to do with social/environmental factors. |
