Someone recorded my friend an I on omegle?
We where on omegle and a guy said he was suicidal. My friend an I where suspicious but we felt wrong to disconnect so we stayed on. My friend noticed her belly button ring was bleeding and she lifted up her shirt to change the piercing. The guy started getting very creepy saying he liked her but and things that didn't sound right. I noticed that his camera was repeating itself and I didn't think it was a live feed. I asked him to wave to us to prove he was real and he got very angry and said he recorded the whole thing. He then played us a video of my friend lifting up her shirt to change the piercing. A little bit of her bra was out and a little cleavage but no nipples or anything like that. He is threatening us that he will post this video on fb, YouTube and other sites. All this video is, is us sitting in her room telling him not to kill himself. We didn't give out any person info besides out nick names. Should we be concerned and if so What should we do?

1. Contact omegle and notify them that this person's violating their terms of service:

"By using the Omegle Web site, and/or related products and/or services ("Omegle", provided by Omegle.com LLC), you agree to the following terms: Do not ... behave in any other inappropriate or illegal way on Omegle. Understand that human behavior is fundamentally uncontrollable, that the people you encounter on Omegle may not behave appropriately, and that they are solely responsible for their own behavior. Use Omegle at your own peril. Disconnect if anyone makes you feel uncomfortable. You may be denied access to Omegle for inappropriate behavior, or for any other reason. "
2. If you find the video posted online, you can ask that the relevant service (FaceBook, YouTube, etc.) take it down.
3. You can check with your state attorney general's office to see if he's violating the law, although he probably isn't.

I have a feeling that this person is just trying to get a rise out of you. The web is full of ******* like that. Next time you feel uncomfortable in such a situation, you might consider following your instincts.

Don't worry too much about the video. Personally, it doubt it'll be traceable back to you, so I wouldn't be too concerned: it'll be just one more online video out of 50 billion. If you didn't use your real names, the only way to trace it back to you is your online nicknames, so you might want to change them. Other than that, I wouldn't worry about it. The guy's just a jerk trying to upset people.
