So this girl at my school moved here from Germany and I've seen her a few times around school but we haven't talked at all or communicated. But I really want to get to know her since we both have a German background and similar physical appearances (hair, eyes,) and I know she's in a class with one of the teachers I have but in a later block so I came in to ask a "question" and I smiled at her and she smiled back and I was talking to the teacher and I could see her looking at me out of the corner of my eye, I know last semester she took a class so she could speak English better.
I'm just wondering how I would get around to talking to her! Help!

Does she have any social media accounts? You could always send her a txt or inbox her a message saying "Hey, I know we haven't ever really talked, but I see you around school a lot and it would be really cool to get to know you a little better" and see what she says. If you can't do that, try and find a way to get near her during passing time or something and introduce yourself, maybe even ask her on a date..or if you dont like her like that, just ask her if she would want to hang out sometime as friends...good luck!

If you plan a whole conversation it won't work.
You'll be trying to remember what to say next and not paying attention to what she's even saying.
