Facebook-group chats?

On facebook there is a group that says ''If 1 million people join,Facebook will add group chats".Is this true? And there is this other group that says "Group chat is finally here!Get it now!!! Invite friends!!!" and then it tells you do to steps.if you do these steps ,does it really work?some people say its a scam.Please tell me! Thanks!

It doesn't work. Those groups are just scams. Usually if you look at the group's discussions board or just poke around before you actually join, you'll even see the proof, where people are saying that the group doesn't work. Chances are the group that you're talking about tells you that if you send out a bunch of invites first, only then will you be able to get the group chat, right? It says that because they don't actually have the power to make group chat appear, but they figure by the time you find that out, you'll have already sent the invites! So their group will continue to grow, even though it's never actually given what it promised and is really quite useless.
