Is buying Facebook friends / Twitter followers good for marketing?
The followers are real too. I thought it's pretty useless. I was talking to University lecturers, and they believe anybody involved in things such as Media will look much better with followers/friends, and should just boost the numbers. I found it pretty weird that they approved of it.

It's ok to do this.
I can't think of anything negative about it. Just make sure the product you're selling works. I've seen this guy who tries to be a fake celebrity, and bought a lot of followers. The messages on the guy's facebook wall were all spam. Ads |

Yes, I think it is still a better form of social media marketing. Your marketing process will become successful by buying Facebook friends, twitter followers or YouTube views if you get original hits from real users.
