Is Lil Wayne better than Tupac?

Tupac was ALOT better influence, slightly better rapper and by and far more representative of African Americans of his time.
If lil wayne is figurehead for the black community, someone should toss him in the ocean.

I think Tupac and Eminem are the best, Pac was better than lil wayne, Pac helped make rap, and he did reach out to people and rapped about problems in the world that people face everyday or have faced...and Big-L did have sick flow, he had some good lyrics though.

Lil Wayne doesn't have metaphors, all his fans are quick to say that he has the best metaphors. He uses wordplay and hashtag rap. Just because something isn't meant to be taken literally does not make it a metaphor. I disagree with 2pac being best storyteller, but I see your point. I think 2pac and Big L are fantastic rappers, although not the best, and I think lil wayne is mediocre, but knows how to sell records and can entertain an audience that isn't looking for real hip-hop, or casual listeners.
