Why was my facebook account disabled?

Recently I tried to log on to my facebook account and it said it was disabled. I thought this was weird because I do not violate any of the facebook rules. I do not post nude pics, racist remarks, swear words or anything like that at all. I just use to keep in contact with friends and family. Did someone report me for doing something I didn't? or did someone hack into it and post something not good? Are there any other reasons why this would happen? Am i automatically removed from all of my friends' lists? Do i have to get a new facebook account if its not possible to enable my current account? Please try to answer these questions, especially the last one. Thanks so much!

Facebook shuts down accounts for stupid reasons, this has happened to my Gf twice.
