how do I change my yahoo avatar?

I get to my profile page, but how do I get to the avatar edits?

I think they took down the avatar thing. I just made a new account and there is no avatar option. sucks.

Yahoo Ended yahoo Avatars this Year . Last users were to make a final change to then was 12,12,2012 Yahoo no longer is going to offer The Yahoo avatars. there are a lot of Avatars to find if you do a web search for them. The Yahoo page that users used to make Avatars changes has been removed from Yahoo.

Yahoo no longer supports the creation of their (own) cartoon avatars.

But you can use a photo avatar or a cartoon avatar from another site, and if you have a Facebook or Twitter account, you can also use those avatars.

Go to: http://profile.yahoo.com/y/settings/privacy/ - make sure your profile isn't hidden, because if it is, your avatar won't show.

In case you want to use a Facebook or Twitter avatar, you need to link those accounts in the Profile options.

You have several options in case you want a photo avatar:
a) go to your Yahoo! Answers settings at http://answers.yahoo.com/my-activity > click edit my preferences near your current pic > click "Update photo or avatar",
b) go to your Yahoo! Profile at http://profile.yahoo.com/ , click on the current avatar.
Now upload a picture or choose one of the pics you've uploaded previously - the format can be bmp, jpg, png, or .gif.

Note: if you are on a mobile, you need to switch to desktop mode first in order for this to work.

Yahoo no longer offers avatars so your old one can't be edited but you can do this:
Choose either a cartoon or a photo avatar
Create a personal avatar below not a moving or large one, right click and save it to you pc then follow the upload directions below.
