Do you think that people who grew up with social media are very different to those who didn't?

And yes I'm one of the oldies who remembers things before social media. Do you think the current generation have any sense of what it was like?
Omg Darrell great example. Lol.

I think so. Those who grow up with social media tend to be less guarded with their privacy.

EDIT: Darrell nailed it right on the head

Every new generation is vastly different in ways AND vastly the same too.
An excellent video that addresses this topic: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5HbYScltf1c

Every succeeding generation will have less of any sense of what things were like before social media. As a former 6/7th grade teacher, I will give you a profound example.

When I presented the topic of study to the students of 1st period, I told them to "Open your books to the chapter on Acceleration." The entire class just sat there and looked at me. I repeated myself. A student spoke up with "What page?" I replied "Look it up." The class didn't move because they didn't know how to use a table of contents. These same students could do wonders with photos and setting up and using anything tech. I spent the day teaching all classes how to use the reference parts of a book.
