Wolf hybrid or husky malamute?

So you do have expert with northern breeds. That good, I would say that if you have done your research, as I am sure you have, then you are ready. Have you met the dog in person? There are certain things that you will see in person that you wont see in these pictures. For example, high contents (although she is a mid) have all black nails. There are other characteristics, but what I did when I recently got my puppy, (who turned out to be a husky mix, no wolf) was send all the relevant images I had to a wolfdog breeder on facebook and ask their opinion. they were able to ensure me that my husky mix that my sister bought for me had no wolf (I sent images of the mother, and the pup since she is so young and the mother was supposably 50%). Unfortanantly there are a lot of people out there that either are
1) easily confused and think that any grey "wolfy" dog is a wolf mix -or-
2) think that by saying that there mutt puppies are wolf mixes they will get more money (which they can, if they can fool people).

So be careful, and send images to wolfdog breeders, search wolfdog characteristics, there is an awesome sight out there that tells you exactly what to look for in a mid to high content, I just don't know the name of it but search and you will find it.

I honestly see more malamute than wolf. A high content should look almost indestinguishable from a wolf. A mid content should look like a wolfy dog (more wolf, with a couple dog characteristics). So I think not. Find a reputable breeder if you are ready for a wolfdog. Maybe they can sell you an adult if that's what you are looking for.
