facebook privacy settings?

I had a facebook account and de-activated it, i made another one now and i dont know how to change my privacy settings i want everything to be private, i changed it to say only friends but before i added some friends they said they could see my whole profile except photos, how do i make my wall, my information and my friends private? i dont like anyone who isnt my friend to see these things

when you are logged in on the top right there is a drop down button clickt that and then click privacy settings from their you can change who can see you information

After you've logged in go into privacy settings and choose friends only.
Then if you want to check that no stranger can see you all you do is go onto your profile and at the top right of your page it says View As... if you click that you can see what your profile will look like to others.
