On Facebook how do I stop the Pop Ups?

I have turned on my pop up blocker, and set it to the highest setting but they are still popping up when on Facebook... please help ???

Those ads are what keeps FaceBook free
I know they get annoying, but all ya gotta do is exit out of them. I mean, would you rather have those ads or have to pay $10 a month to use the site? I hate the ads too, but I'm thankful for them lol.

i think they eventually kinda go away...when i first signed onto facebook i had the same problem but now only every once in awhile do i get one...try going to http://www.lavasoft.com and downloading like a spyware or adware doctor...i think it's what stopped mine
