myspace is one of the worst things you can do to yourself...it is very unsafe and doesn't take very many safety precautions as facebook

facebook definetley. You can have more friends, funner things to do, IM friends with out having to download a bunch of crap and its just soo much easier. only bad part is you cant have a background but that doesnt really matter...Good Luck!!!!

If you're looking to open an account at a social networking site for promotion/expressing your creativity/publicity or want access to people trying to do those things, Myspace is the choice. Myspace allows design/layout customization, Facebook doesn't. If you are posting your "life" on there, lock it up as tight as you can with your privacy controls because you will attract attention you don't want.

Facebook is a little more exclusive/controlled and a better choice if you are looking for a place to network with your friends/family etc. however it doesn't allow layout/profile customization. Facebook, at this time, has fewer ads as well...and despite what you've been told, yes, Facebook does allow you to easily chat with other Facebook users.

I liked myspace better. I was just looking to get laid. Love it! Facebook is kinda more suit and tie. Everybody has their opionion. Get both, try it for yourself.
