It isn't alive. The person on it is what they make of it. It can be used for anything.

It's a medium, the morals reflect those of the producers.
Like, for example, TV news is morally bankrupt because the people who make TV news are morally bankrupt. |

Social media is what you make of it. So, I guess if you focus your efforts on those you consider as having a good set of morals, yes. Otherwise, no. Pretty much like the internet in general.

It totally depends on how you use it. If you use it constructively to make a positive image for yourself and reach out to people then its utility has a huge scope.
But if you use it for evil purposes then obviously, it will be bad. It's a tool which does not have a positive or negative side of its own. It totally depends on the person using it. |
