Is there a way to bypass those pesky surveys that ask for your phone number?
At first i thought these were just on Facebook pages that advertisers dished out to get you to fall for this kind of stuff. But yesterday i was trying to watch a tv show online, the website i went to having no relation to Facebook, and one of these survey things popped up! Is the site i went to for real, or do they just want me to buy super expensive ring tones? If it is real, is there any way i can get passed the survey without giving out my phone number?

This is not a Facebook-only advertisement scenario.

Affiliate marketers make a commission based off your submission of information to a company database; for example, if you are browsing http://www.randomcoolvideo.com

DataMining Inc. pays the owner of http://www.randomcoolvideo.com anywhere from $1.20 to $6.00 for your information, and DataMining Inc. uses your information in future marketing campaigns (sending ads to your phone, selling your information to LargerDataMining Co., etc.).

You just see it often on Facebook because Facebook has considerably higher traffic than http://www.randomcoolvideo.com does, so this is where affiliates place many of their advertisements/lead generating forms.

Yes there is. Dable the javascript. When you go on them sites, a CPAlead script, makes that run, if you disable javascript, CPAlead wont be able to run, as the browser wont look for the Js code to run.
