Facebook Advertisements?

I have logged on today and I have a shi*t load of adverts all over my facebook.. is there a script I can install which would get rip of them.

I can't stand them.
there's just adverts at the side of the news feed and in between friends status updates and stuff. They're probably meant to be there.. but I just want to know if there's a way to get rid or do I have to live with them
