Well, depending in what your site is oriented to, there are tons of advertising you can do for free, traffic exchange, list building, more social sites (got a new one still under construction named sqip, see sources) viral traffic generators, free advertising ad boards, follower generating tools on twitter, I list a good sample of each on sources, I hope this info will be useful.
