Can't follow anyone on instagram?

Can't follow anyone on instagram?
I can like pictures and comment on them but I can't follow anyone. I click the follow button but maybe a second later it turns back to blue. I turned off my phone, signed out and back in, deleted the app and re downloaded. Does anyone know what this can be and how to fix the problem. I haven't followed anyone today I just unfollowed a lot of people.

Chances are they may have blocked you. That happened to me. The only way for you to let them follow you is have the person unblock you.

How many people are you following? I know the limit is 7500. It could also be a glitch or the person blocked you.
