New facebook, friends bar? how does it work?
When I go to my 'Profile' on the new facebook it shows a list of friends right under my profile picture. This list always has diff people on it... but the people are always people who are close to me or who I see on the reg.
How does FB know to put them there? Is it because they are viewing my page? (because a lot of the time i never go to there page and they will be on my bar) Does anyone know how it works? Ads |

I believe it puts the people you publicly interact with the most (write on their walls, comment on their stati, etc.)

According to Facebook:
“Friends who you publicly interact with the most appear first on your profile. Examples of public interactions include Wall posts, comments and mutually attended events — Facebook will never show friends based on whose profiles you choose to view or who you interact with over messages and chat.†|
