Wait, did you give her a thumps up while you were in the middle of the Pledge of Allegiance?

If so, I can see how that may be somewhat rude. There shouldn't be no talking or anything during the Pledge of Allegiance.

But also, receiving an F seems pretty severe to me. I mean, dang. I would talk to your gym teacher about it because if you're typically a good student with no behavior track record and you don't receive a warning but an automatic F, well, that just sucks.

If she shows no interest in bargaining, I would talk to the principal. Also, I would ask your parent(s) and what they think before you go to the principal.
