HELP I am in love with my teacher?

This is not just some girly crush this is something more. It's started off as an innocent little crush and has transformed into something more... I am in love with him. I have liked him for takeaway 1 years straight now and always think of ways to impress him and stuff I don't check to see if he is on Facebook or anything I don't follow him round like a creepy person like most people I no do I respect his privacy . But yesterday he mentioned he had a girlfriend I feel as if my heart has been torn apart. Okay I know I sound like a freak but is it super weird to fall in love with a teacher he is probably a lot older than me but this is gonna sound weird but I like to think that in the future when things are legal we could see each other out of school but now I know he had a girlfriend what's the point

It REALLY depends on how old you are but if you are around 15ish I wouldn't worry as this is what happens at that time. Just stop thinking about him and you'll be fine later in life!
