my cpu is running at a high temperature is this bad? and what do i do?
hi i bought a brand new hp pavillion a couple of days ago and i decided to download speecy.
Last night my cpu-amd a10 quad core managed to reach a v.high 100 celcius while doing practically nothing. should i bring it back to the shop, and yes its lying on a flat surface Ads |

It's possible that you have a hardware failure.
If you have the receipt and it hasnt been 30 days you should consider taking it back Ads |

first find out why
it's possible it's doing updates in the background go to task managaer - click processes tab then click cpu - see whats running and inestigate - it maybe be something simple |

At fast Your open your cpu & clean ,after that cpu no work, your cooling fan problem..

Hi just what do you expect a cpu to work at in such a small area.
yes they run close to the boiling point of water due to being in such a small case. at the sort of frequencies needed to produce the results of gaming etc. so this is normal knowledge of the subject is it would keep on working up to about 1200 degrees c before the core melted. so this is another issue as a laptop was never designed for 3-4 hours working. just 1hour as a hot desk device. for business use only. |
