We went to HS 10 years ago - he found me on FB and we chatted for a month - then we messed around and he left me MIA>We discussed being serious so that was bad on his part. Yet next day he texts and I respond, no reply. So I text him and he now he ignores me. But why does he still have me as a "friend' on FB> Ads |

Maybe he hasn't had the chance to update his Facebook, or he's just giving the appearance of being polite.

My guess is because having someone as a friend on Facebook is benign compared to having a coversation via text messages. They are not in the same category at all, since Facebook friend status is not actual communication beyond the initial request.

I remember the days before text messaging and Facebook. It was a lot simpler and a lot less weird. We are all held accountable now based on whether or not we choose to respond to a text message or a Facebook post. Kinda weird.
