Tell her, "I'll pray for you." You could even add, "hopefully God will help you to open your mind." Or something. That always makes my mother mad...

I watch what I tweet and retweet on twitter because of siblings. BUT I really understand what your going through. It's not her business to talk to you on problems regarding twitter. I mean it may be open but it's your business. She should have just said to watch what you post b/c of swear words. I mean everyone makes mistakes. To get your mom involved would probably make it worst. That being said.. I would ask her how she found out. I would tell her not to get mom involved b/c you could deal with it. But I guess you do need to watch what you tweet and retweet b/c there may be people watching. And retweet or not, you shouldn't get in the habit of swear words.

Hope I helped Smile

She considers herself to be in a position of power and moral authority. She uses her position as a platform to attack others. You should reveal it to the entire congregation and maybe a news platform.

Just cause someone claims to be Christian doesn't make them moral. Goodluck!

I have an Atheist friend that finds curse words offensive. One of his big objections is that curse words limit your vocabulary. There are so many other words available, that would pinpoint the issues much more clearly. Curse words also limit the kinds of jobs you can get later in life. Foul language has a way of slipping out accidentally, at the most inappropriate times. We think of Peter going off as Jesus was being accused. His foul mouth was to show that he was definitely not a follower of Jesus. Then Jesus looked at Peter as the crow began to crow a third time. Peter hurt and felt so ashamed, as he realized how his foul language had hurt his close friend Jesus. What is posted is out there for all to see. Once it is out there, you can't erase from your friends minds that you would stoop to the level of uneducated people that aren't out to better themselves, or those around them. I would have appreciated if she would have kindly spoken to me about it first, and given me a chance to decide how I would handle it. Your mom is most likely much more aware of what you are doing than she lets on. The pastor's wife would most likely rub salt in her wound. Do you get along well with your mother, and respect others, besides just your friends? Have you tried to pray for this woman that bothers you? Working with young people is not an easy challenge, as you are aware of. You could pray for God to grant her the gift of discernment, as well as love, and kindness. Ask God to send the Holy Spirit to the both of you, to help you both learn to appreciate each other, and become friends. May God bless you both with peace and joy.

You may not be in a church that parallels your life and dreams for the future. There's a "judge not" thing in my Bible.

If there were not cursewords, why did you take some down? There were curse words. She was right. It was inappropriate. That is why you took them down. Don't put cursewords on twitter, pretty simple. Why get defensive? If she is wrong, it should not bother you. If she is right, you should learn from it. She can tell your mom if she wants to. You don't have to tell your mom. The pastor's wife is not your boss. But you can learn from everyone or anyone.
