Depends on what kind of picture it is. As for conversations, Idgf. It's not like I don't talk to guys, and I'm not going to make a big deal about him having female friends.

Liking pics - doesn't bother me. If he's commenting unappropriate things though, like calling her super sexy or saying he'd 'treat her right', than i'd see it as a red flag.
Conversations with other girls - If they're friends, that's fine, a friendly, non-sexual conversation i don't mind. But I'd be uncomfortable if he's flirting with other girls, online or in person.
