Why blue facebook and why not colourful themes for facebook?

Its to help with brand recognition. People recognise the blue and white as 'Facebook'.

If you want to use another colour there are plenty of free addons on Firefox that will allow themes for facebook.

Because every company has their own trademark and brand logo. So, facebook is blue. We can't change its theme because facebook doesn't allow to do it.
