How does Facebook decide what friends show up on your sidebar?
You know...when you are on Facebook and you are going to different pages and you go back to your profile page and the sidebar that shows your friends always has the same friends show up. If you know what I mean...

They are based on random people with whom you have been interacting the most with....

i think it's random. but with changes seeming to occur, it may be slightly personalized, such as if you've recently visited specific people more often.
