Do Libertarians idolize the good ol' days of 12-hour-work days & no labour regulations?

Most libertarians believe that the free market will fix itself by people refusing to do dangerous, low paying work if they don't like the job, etc. unfortunately, libertarians forget/ignore the fact that, in many places across the country, there is no alternative. Most Americans work paycheck to paycheck. They can't just move across the country on a whim to find alternative employers that do treat their employees well. And, if there were no laws or regulations in place, employers who currently do provide better working conditions would no longer do so, making a "whim move across the country" a futile effort.

Some may. As may some Democrats, some Republicans, some Caucasians, some N'egroes, some blondes, some brunettes, some of any group about which you would care to generalize in ignorance. What's your point? Do you have one?

I drive a truck for a living. This is a job that requires a fair amount of skill and ability. I still regularly work in excess of eight hours a day and over 40 hours in a week. What is this "time and a half" about which you babble? Almost every second of my work day is regulated by the federal government. What does that prove?

What "social programs" are you babbling about? The earnings theft and redistribution programs of the welfare state? Food stamps? Taxpayer funded housing? Medical care for the parasitic class? I DEFY you to tell us the part of the Constitution of the United States that authorizes these communist programs to exist. BETCHA CAN'T, SPARKY!
