I would look for an item sold by Amazon or the order is fulfilled by Amazon. I have purchased a few items that are sold and shipped by a third party and never had trouble.

It's the exact same seller either way... I would buy it through the cheaper of the two options. The only downside is that if you need to return the product or something similar, it will be more difficult if you don't buy with Amazon fulfillment.
