College Help: University of Iowa vs University of Arizona?
University of Iowa vs University of Arizona
I am stuck between UofA and Iowa, i have been accepted to both and I plan on majoring in marketing, I need help deciding which school to attend because I am equally between them both right now, distance is not a huge factor for me. Here's a list of pros and cons I made: Side note: The whole social scene really is stressing me out, all the reviews I read online say AZ has a huge Greek life and if you are not in it you are nothing, which I am not opposed to rushing for a frat but it is not what I really want. Iowa Pro: Close to home (from Chicago) Direct admission to business school (tippie) Know people there Good social scene (Do not need to join Greek life) Con: It's somewhat of a second choice More expensive Arizona (UofA NOT ASU) Pro: Better ranked business school (Eller) Located in Arizona ( I really enjoy being outdoors and hiking/mountains, big part of why I like AZ) Cheaper Weather of course Con: Read some bais reviews online that scared me Far from home Would need to join Greek life ( I'm not opposed to but not really wanting to) Please help me out! Thanks!!!!! Ads |

oh please you do not have to join a frat to have a social life at AZ
Not every student is in a frat or sorority there and they are very expensive to be in At the University of Arizona in 2010 greek student population was 12% Meaning over 80% of the total student population was NOT in a frat or sorority |

I would choose UAZ simply based on the warm winters. Also, never go with your second choice. Remember, your choice will determine the next 4 years of your life.

Go on collegeprowler.com, this is a website written by current students, they won't sugar coat their honest answers. Good luck on your choice.
