Have been a toxic friend... Do you think my friend will forgive me?
Basically, I got dumped by a close friend about 5 months ago, who said she wasn't close to me before she left, and it really affected my self esteem. I became really depressed and negative, and ranted to my close friend about my other friend leaving me for about 4 months. In other words, I became a toxic friend.
The last straw came when I actually told my close friend that I felt that her friends are fake because they pretend to care about me when they do not in reality. My friend tried to persuade me a few times that they actually did care, but I did not believe it. So my close friend abruptly stopped talking to me totally 6 weeks ago. She also blocked me on Whatsapp, and Facebook. I have since made up with her friends, and written her an apology letter to my friend about 4 weeks ago, but received no response. I have also promised myself that I will be more positive, and have since recovered from the depression that plagued me months ago. Do you think there is a chance that she would forgive me? What should I do? How do I show her I am willing to change and have changed myself, and never treat her, or her friends this way again? I do want to contact her, but I am not sure whether I should because she has asked me to leave her alone and I am scared that she will be even more irritated if I keep trying to contact her. Ads |

You have obviously offended your friend. Keep trying to contact her. And, when she does give you a response, be sure to begin rebuilding trust. Trust takes a long time to build, and even longer to rebuild. You can start rebuilding that trust by proving you have changed.

Or you could leave her alone like she wants you to do. Douche
