How would you resolve this marital problem?

Eccentric Dad! I haven't heard from you for a while. I'm glad to see that you are working again. I was hoping that would help stabilize your marriage, from your past questions. But, I guess that isn't the problem.

I think you need to read "He's just not that into you" by Greg Behrendt. I think that's the problem here.

You two have been together a long time, and I'm sorry to say, but it sounds like she has grown bored of you.

I'm going to give you a passive aggressive solution: Find some expensive hobby, and really start using the family funds on it, to the point that other things (i.e. the things she likes to do) are no longer affordable. That will get her attention in a hurry. And when she protests about the time and money spent on your new hobby, say something like "Well, honey, you said I was needy, so I decided to branch out."

Here's some suggestions:

-Get a PS4 or an Xbox One, and get your kids totally addicted to the thing also, so that they will be in your corner

-Buy season tickets to your local Baseball team this summer, and take your kids to every game possible

-Start Gambling (WHOO!)

-Start booking very nice vacations for just you and your kids.

Wait, that's terrible advice. Instead, join a book club, or a hiking club or something cheap/free like that where you can socialize with people that are interested in you at all.
