Have you had to explain to anyone how internet friends ARE real friends?

Internet friends are NOT real friends. You cannot get to know a person over a screen. And a real friend can only be considered if you truly know who they are and accept them likewise. You can lie to yourself and pretend that you get to know someone over the internet, but what you are really getting to know is what they want you to. You do not get to see how they interact in the real world and therefore cannot make a correct opinion about them.

I have many contacts form on R&P that I would call real close friends. And I just don't communicate with then here on the net. I also talk with them on the phone. Share pictures of my family, and I myself, but not I have never had to explain that so far Birdy. All of my friends on here pretty much know me inside out.
