Who was the worst teacher you ever had, and why?

Probably my jr. high school p.e. teacher. He would publicly humiliate students in front of the class if he felt they were poor performers. He didn't talk like a normal person would; he bellowed. He could make your blood boil.

Best teacher I had was my 2nd grade teacher. She is believed to have been Utah's very first black teacher. She was very much into human rights and standing up for what she believed in. A common question she would ask the class every morning was, "Who's the most important person in the world?" She'd point to us and say "You are". She was awesome.

My 11th grade AP chemistry teacher. He was so lazy and never taught us anything. It got to the point when students were actually asking for homework because we felt like we weren't learning anything and we were all going to fail the AP exam. He gave us hard tests on stuff we didnt learn. He was a smart guy, just lazy. He always bragged about going to Harvard, too. He was also very rude to students and picked on the shy students and got annoyed with the smart ones who corrected his mistakes. I despised that man so much

BQ: fortunately I had many great teachers. It's hard to pick, but my 11th grade AP English teacher is up there. He was incredibly tough but I learned SO much. And he was hilarious (he showed us miley cyrus videos on the first day of school)

The number of worst teachers/professors I've had is significantly much larger in magnitude than the number of what I would consider decent teachers.

I've had only one really really good teacher in my life and that was my father. Other than that, my high school bio/chem/psych teacher was a nice person and only my calc 1 teacher in community college at least was fair, unbiased, and knew what he was doing.

Since University I have had almost none

Call me negative, antisocial, whatever.

Until someone can actually prove to me that they are a decent teacher/professor, you can't say that I am wrong.
