Is it bad to exercise daily?
I know you need recovery and I heard that as long as you eat right/have a good nutrition there is nothing to worry. Food rebuilds muscle. I also feel better if I work out everyday. Is it bad to exercise daily or just varies from person to person? Any answers are appreciated thanks

No. In fact, it is good to exercise everyday. Just have to take care that you don't overdo it to the point that you sustain injuries.

Hi there! I just answered a similar question on my tumblr.
There's nothing wrong with exercise every day, however, it depends on the type of exercise you choose. If you are solely doing cardio, you can certainly do that everyday. If you're referring to weightlifting, on the other hand, you don't want to train a muscle that is recovering. It's true that muscles recover through food. Absolutely! Protein in particular, as well as sleep. But you don't want to work that muscle every day. You can injure yourself or the muscle, and slow down progress. What I advise in the link below is to work different muscle groups different days of the week. Divide your muscle groups and watch the progress unfold! I'm big into weightlifting, so if you have any questions, just ask! You can also follow me on tumblr. It's horsepowerfit.tumblr.com facebook.com/horsepowerfit , twitter.com/HorsepowerFit , and instagram @horsepowerfit Good luck! |
