When should I start adding a shop on my website?

Hello,

I have built a website - lightpursuer.com - and it has been 1 and a half months now and I have 10,200 views in total. It is a photography news/rumor/blog site and I wish to develop it into like a social network as well as a blog/news and online shop. Currently, I am only up to the stage of the news/blog part and when do you think I should take the next step into making it an online shop or a social network? A bit like digitalrev.com .
