Tech support with Java+Firefox+(Blackboard)?
trying to get java to run on Firefox and it keeps saying : "application blocked: your security settings have blocked an untrusted application from running"

I tried fixing it through preferences and plug-ins but nothing is working.

Please tell me what to do to make java a trusted application on Firefox.
(I have a Mac Os X)

thank you

Java:
Click on Apple icon on upper left of screen
Go to System Preferences
Click on the Java icon to access the Java Control Panel.
select the security tab, and Click "Edit Site list" located under "Exception Site List"
use the add button to enter a website.

Firefox:
Press alt and go to Tools > Options
Click on security option
click exceptions and add the website.
