Can I write stories as blogs and post them up?

If I made a gmail account and used a false name but the other details were correct can I still use adsense or is it illegal?

If I get a check from google from adsense will it have the false name on and can I still use it?

You can use false anything if you want...until you have to pay for something (like page layout) and your name doesn't match your credit card.

You can use fake names for just about anything as long as it's free. Once you start paying or getting paid, you usually have to use your real info. Also, why wouldn't you use your real name? Nobody will read it unless you state it in your blog.

In the blog itself, you could create a persona or a pen name so there's little to no connection with your real life. So you're using your real info with Adsense but when people visit your blog nobody will know it's you unless you want to. This might be easier if you're using something other then blogger (since it's owned by google).

Actually since I see this is bothering you, only thing from google you should use is Adsense (with your real info) and you're good. Use a hotmail rather then gmail as an email and create a blog on wordpress rather then on blogger. (assuming you want to go with a free blog) Then integrate adsense there and use a pen name on the blog. It's not as straightforward as with blogger but still very easy and there's tons of videos on youtube about this.

Or you could just go all rambo style and create a blog that has your name in the url. xD

Blogging is a nice way to share your ideas thoughts with world. It is just like a forum and if your posting/writing is important you will get follower and visitor to your sites. Any one can have a blog with a gmail account.
But, If you want to earn from your blog you have lots of option, one of easy way is adding Google adsens. And to get your money you will need a bank account with the name you created. Your adesens account name is very important because google will send the check on that name. So you cant cash the check unless you have the name on your account details.
So I am sure that you cant cash the check with false name or with a name that does not have a bank account.
