How do you market a newly published book on Facebook?

I am a newbie and want to market my newly published book. Any ideas for a self published author on a modest budget. Free is always preferred.

Whenever you need to market your book on the social network site facebook you can do it yourself by making a profile page on facebook, then make groups and offer them valuable input by sending messages about your product, you will get the replies from your friend and groups, but it need regularly eye look and update too. this is very hard to do, if you can very nice. Well if you already have a profile on Facebook, start a group for your book. Kind of like a fan club. Invite all your friends to join your group and invite their friends too. Hopefully the word will spread and more and more people will join. On your group page you can send announcements like upcoming book signings, etc. Good luck.
