Confused in facebook privacy?
In chat can we set the privacy to "not visible" to one specific person?
OR
If we set to not visible all the persons will not see me online?
Please help its really confusing.

If you go into options and advanced settings you can choose to turn on chat for some friends, then enter the names of those you want to be visible to.

Yes, you can turn off the Facebook chat only for specific friends.

Just click the Turn off chat button and the menu will appear. From there you can set up you chat visibility
