Can i browse internet if DNS is not working?
I want to browse internet whenever my DNS service is not working.
I have saved some website IP addresses which are my favorite websites. So i want to know that if my DNS service is not working i can browse websites with their IP addresses or not??? Thanks in advance. Ads |

You can use the Google's Public DNS service. I use it instead of my Verizon's DNS.
Configure your network settings to use the IP addresses 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as your DNS servers. For more info: https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/ Ads |

If you think its your DNS just change it. If you don't know how to change it look up a youtube video. ( Its very easy to do )
Google: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 Open DNS: 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220 |

Yes, you can. DNS just changes the names to IP addresses. So if enter http://192.168.1.1/admin/index.html) and the server isn't setup to redirect you automatically you would have to enter the full URL.
However, it might be easier to just change DNS providers, as others suggest. |
