How do I keep the advertising off the page?
When I try to print something, the advertising takes part of the page and cuts off the message

If the webpage is not copy protected, you can use the mouse and highlight the text. Then do a copy (edit > copy) and paste (edit> paste) the highlighted text to a word processor (MS Word) and print it from there.
Another way is press the Print/Screen button on the keyboard. Then paste (edit> paste) the contents of the screen capture to a word processor (MS Word) and print it from there . This process captures what you see on the PC monitor, you will need to do it several times if the contents of the page are long and does not fit on one screen. Simply scroll down the page and do a print/screen and paste several times. Ads |

Use an ad blocker to prevent you from seeing advertising on webpages. That will make it easier to print the page. There are a number of adblocker add ons for Firefox and Chrome that you can try
