Should I wait until he finally replies before I ask him?
Basically my ex who I broke up with a year ago added me back on Facebook recently and he messaged me, we talked for a bit and agreed to meet up, he cancelled on the day and we stopped talking but then he messaged me back 3 weeks later and asked to meet again so I said sure but then I thought about it and cancelled myself cause I had a feeling he'd cancel again anyway. We then stopped talking again and now a month later he messaged me again just saying hey, so I asked him why he's started talking again and he said 'I just wanted to say get' so we just carried on messaging but then he started replying extremely slow, like he'd reply the day after and he even started reading my messages and not replying until ages so he were actually ignoring me and just replying when he felt like it. What's the point in him doing this? I haven't been replying to him straight away either cos I'm being the same as he's being with me. I'm confused as to why he'd start messaging me for the 3rd time in like 4 months or whatever but then not reply properly as a normal person would. Should I wait until he decides to reply before I ask why he's doing it, or should I ask him now... Or should I not ask him at all?

Honestly, just ignore him. He's your EX; you guys broke up for a reason and you've stayed broken up for a reason. Right now he's just messing around with you, leading you on, wasting your time… Don't go along with it; it's just going to happen again and again and again. Don't waste your time and just ignore him. No matter what he tells you, just ignore him and carry on. Don't ask him, don't do anything, just ignore him.

I think you should move on or consider him just a friend (no commitments to respond to) because it doesn't sound like either of you are really serious about a relationship. So just be friends, nothing wrong with that.
