Making money by ADs? HELP ASAP please!!?

So I see some people have ads on their tumblr blogs, they ask people click them and they earn money. How does it work? How can I make ads and put them on my blog? I do need money. Someone give me a detailed explanation, please.

Hi Dorian,

Based on what you mentioned, I believe those people signed up for Google Adsense. How it works is that they have a website on a certain topic/niche. They signed up for the Google Adsense program and Google will place ads related to that website's topic there. If the website's visitors click on the ads, the website owner will get paid some commission. Therefore, the more visitors you get, the higher chance of someone will click on the ad, and the more money you will make.

However, in order for Google to place ads on your website, you will have to create a website and have a good amount of relevant contents on the site. Google will crawl your site and ensure that you have enough contents and are relevant before they approve your application to Adsense.

Another way to make money on the website is signging up for affiliate programs. There are a lot of brands out there like Amazon, Ebay, Best buy and etc will offer these affiliate programs. They provide you a code or image and you place it on your website. Whenever your visitor clicks on the "link" or image on your website, they will be directed to the brand's website and if they purchase something, you will get a certain amount of % commission. Again, the more visitors you get, the more money you make.

They have Adsense or Amazon ads. You will have to sign up with each of these services and they will give you the website code to place on your blog. You can then earn money when people visit and click.
