Can a Static Front Page hurt SEO for my blog?
I have a blog that I have been working on since 2010. Between then and now I didn't dedicate that much time to SEO until recently because of my busy schedule. I recently changed the layout of my blog and that included adding a Static Front Page, which mean my home page is http://www.wahinfo.com/blog

There are 3 widget areas on the home page that allows me to add a few lines of selected posts, but those are the only links to post on the home page.

My Google page rank is a 1, which I don't believe is too bad considering my past lack of time for doing SEO tasks, but my Alexa Rank is 18,914,650 and steady increasing everyday!

Could the Static Page be harming my SEO? My alexa rank has never been this low, at 1 point last year I was ranked in the top 100,000 sites.

Our could it be lack of traffic due to lack of SEO on my part?

How can increase my traffic & Alexa rank?
Yes, my sitemap is updated & submited to Google Webmaster tools & bing.

Since Google is ranking individual pages, is your nav system as easily spidered? I wouldn't think just home page changes would dramatically effect things, have you updated your xml site map and resubmitted it to Google webmaster tools?

Yes it is due to the lack of attention you are giving to your site these days because of that static page might be possible that the visitors feels bored and not returning to your site more frequently.. i would suggest to have SEO again for your site and moreover i would say hire some professional for doing this work right all the best
