How do a give credit to a poet for using their work in a video I make and use on a social media cite?
I want to start a video series using other poets poetry to inspire the work directly, and then reading it in the video. These videos would be posted to social media. If I can already find it online, do I need to get the poet's permission to use their poetry or do I just need to cite, give credit and link? I don't want to break any laws, and I also don't want to piss anyone off. Help!

Just because someone has violated copyright by posting the poetry online, don't assume it's okay for you to use it. Giving credit does not make it okay to use someone else's writing for your own purposes.
You need permission unless the work was published before 1923. Ads |

Yes, you need their permission because it's their works.
