How do I enable Javascript in IE 11?
Skype stopped working for me tonight, I'm getting a blue box with the Skype logo and can't log in. I looked this up and was told it was a problem with Internet Explorer, and then found that Javascript is not enabled on it. Everything I've found about solving this has said to enable Active Scripting. I've done this and it makes no difference. Something else told me to get the newest version of both IE and Java, which I have done, and nothing has changed. Can anyone tell me what I'm missing here?

The problem I'm having is pretty much exactly the same as this: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/ie/fo...2e9248b888

The "C:\Program Files (x86)\Skype\Phone\Skype.exe" /legacylogin shortcut has not worked for me, I just get the same blue box.
I've already tried that, and it hasn't done anything. I was wondering if there's another way, or some extra thing I'm meant to do that I haven't realised.

I think I had IE 10 when this happened, I got 11 last night when I was told that to solve this problem I should get the latest versions of Java and IE. So it can't be 11 that's caused it.

In IE 10, enabling JavaScript is under Scripting/Active Scripting in Tools, Internet Options, Security, Custom Level.

Prob same in IE 11.

It could be 11 is the prob; some users are deleting/uninstalling it and going back to their previous IE.
