I messed things up with a girl I like, what can I do?

basically she started talking to me a few months ago, she added me on Facebook randomly and shes my mates cousin so i know shes actually real. She found me really funny and stuff and we spoke during the entire Christmas holiday and then it kind of died down, and now recently she started messaging me and how she might be coming to Birmingham during the summer (she lives in Germany) and i guess I really am looking forward to it, or was. Well we were talking about the wildest things we've ever done in our lives and she said she's never done anything 'remotely' wild, and I suggested we could do some wild stuff if she ever came to the UK, and since then I saw the 'Seen' sign of my message but no reply. And its not like I meant wild stuff as in sex but i meant legitimate wild stuff like bungee jumping or something. I think she might have taken it the wrong way and i don't exactly want to reply in case she was kinda put off and me messaging her again would seem like I'm desperate or something, so yeah help please!!!
What do you think she thought i meant and is there anything I could do to fix this awkward situation?
(FYI we're both 17 and she is possibly visiting with family)

@Katie I think maybe im overreacting a little, it was about 3 hours ago but we were having a steady conversation and she's also posted like two status updates since then. Also I find it hard to show my feelings to people and im not sure I would be able to apologize but i might just tell her what I meant as if nothing happened maybe? Thanks for the advice though!

well, how long has it been since you messaged her that? i would say leave her a couple of days to reply, maybe shes busy and yes maybe she was a bit freaked out! it's natural though! Then message her apologizing and saying you didn't mean it in that way, maybe suggest what way you actually meant? she will understand i hope! good luck x

This is a hard one. Because if you tell her the truth that you ment like bungee jumping she might think you are lying and just trying to hide your mistake. Well the only thigh you can do really is her the truth about what you ment and then later on ask her if she wants to meet, you, her and her cousin. Just see how it goes

She probably thinks you meant 'Wild Sex' and since you guys only briefly met on the internet she probably got scared. Try and talk to her and ask her what's wrong and try to figure this out.
